Gen Conference 08 - Greensboro NC

Photos from Annual General Conference, Greensboro North Carolina USA - 2008 :) :)
Had a great time :) - was alot different to the ones we have home (somethings I think we could take on board some things I think we shouldn't) - like people serving/eating nachos and hotdogs during the worship service (it was in the foyer, but still) - - they did split sessions during the day which i thought was great. :) :) It was a smaller size this year but at one stage i think there was over 5000 people there... :)

After here i went to a soul winners bootcamp in hollister california with Matt Maddix :)

Oh, and I still cant find those London photos :S hopefully soon....

The people you meet in London. :) This was at a movie premier... (we didnt watch the movie but we met the stars...)
I have no idea how this is going to look when i post it but oh well... This is big ben (well the bell is big ben)...
Here is a guy dressed in a funny hat - no i didnt get a photo with him no i didnt try to make him move - I thought it would be best if I didnt get arrested.. :)
HARRODS!!! very cool, very big... very expensive - this was a bit of a pit stop during the shopping. :)
Went to a broadway show in London - Les Miserables - Loved it :) cant explain how good it was and how much effort all the actors put it. Deffinately a high light. :)

(I'll write more about London in the next post I just cant find all my good photos... )

Denmark

I dont have too many photos from denmark.. I was all travelled out so when i finally stopped my body told me to rest and enjoy.. :) Denmark was very fasionable and classy... (i felt out of place) lols :p The photo with the flag shows me standing in denmark looking out over sweeden. very close. :) the photo of the palace in the background (not the one with the guns) is the residence of the queen of denmark -just to the right of me (you cant see it) is where prince fredrick and princess mary live...

Hey Joshy,

I was in New York for your birthday party. Sorry I missed it, im glad you got my present though. I wanted you to see these photos of a toy store i went into. It had a HUGE dinosaur and a BIG ferris wheel and soooooo many transformers, you would've loved it!! can you see the big Lego tower it was massive...

Bottom of Spain - Tarifa

Just a taste of the bottom of spain... its absolutley gorgeous.. while there I tried my hand and kite surfing and lots of laying on the beach... in the top photo the land you see in the background is actually africa (morocco) :) :) I didnt make it across as I wanted to enjoy where I was and not spread myself too thin... after here I went to copenhagen, denmark...

SPAIN #2 - real spain

So I left the comercial areas of spain (barcelona and velencia) and headed south to granada and seville which had much more of an authentic feel...





Top 3 pics were in granada - the sun set view waas from the balcony where I stayed... the first night I had a room the next night we set up air matresses on the roof and slept under the stars.... was an experience i'll never forget... the photo of all the white houses shows where i stayed its somewhere in the middle of all those white buildings :)

the two night pics were in seville... the guy in the phtoto was my friend i met in barcelona who is from japan... we bumped into each other again in seville... crazy. :)

Too busy having fun - SPAIN #1

Ok, so ive been enjoying myself - - sorry these posts havent been flowing like i had intended them to... here are some picks of my journey through spain: -

First of all is barcelona which is the photo of the beach... I was here for a few days and met some great people. :) the city is quite nice but i was looking for some more authentic spain...
The pic of me standing next to what looks like a rock climbing wall (its actually a church) - this church started being built in the late 1800's and is still being built today...

The photo with the palm trees and the one with the groovy white building was taken in valencia... not too far from where they hold the big tomato fight :)

The last one is also in valencia - its a saturday soccer match...
